To have a policy on things, a philosophy about your actions, is to give meaning to yourself as if you really mattered. By existing with a personal compass, we may seek to change the world and make it more in tune with our personal equilibrium as a token of our existence.

We define ourselves through the suffering that we choose to own. Whether it be our jobs, our loved ones, our sweat, smoking, the chase, the escape, or the fight... we all fight. It gives us meaning to fight. If we don't fight or choose not to fight, then we eventually fight a belief system.

The silhouette of our expressions define the policy that we believe in, and this policy reinforces our identity as we understand why we make the choices that we make. In this way, reality becomes a reflection of what we perceive as a story about the self that we carry around as a token of our identity.
